Privacy
Short version: no ads, no tracking cookies, no analytics. We only keep what you send us.
Messages you send
When you use the contact form we store your name, email address, topic and message so we can read and answer it, and email a copy to Drew and Dan. We also note the country your request came from (from Cloudflare) to help spot abuse.
The mailing list
If you sign up to keep updated we store your email address, the name you give (optional), when you signed up and confirmed, and which version of this wording you agreed to. We only email people who confirm their address. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all mail immediately.
Spam protection
Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is filling them in. To slow down abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for 30 days; the address itself is never stored.
Audio and video
Episode audio plays from our podcast host, Riverside, which counts downloads the same way any podcast app does. Videos load from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play.
Where it lives
Everything is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. We don't sell or share it with anyone.
Getting your data removed
Email hello@drewanddan.fm and we'll delete what we hold about you.
